Cobalt CCK generator

With Cobalt CCK generator, you will be able to create dynamic sliders from Cobalt records.

You could also try to create your generator with Dynamic slider and you will have a basic generator with much less effort.

Cobalt CCK records

You can choose one or more sections, categories and also types and Smart Slider will display the records from those categories in a slider.

Filter

  • Source section: You can select one or more section to filter your records
  • Source category: You can select one or more category to filter your records
  • Source type: You can select one or more type to filter your records
  • User id: You can filter the records by the creator’s user id
  • Published: If switched off, Smart Slider will show the unpublished records
  • Featured: If switched on, only the featured records included in the slider
  • Language filter: You can filter your records by language tag. Default is * which stands for every language

Also every field is available as variable which are defined for your types with the following syntax:

{|TypeName_FieldName-1|}

For every Cobalt field, we are providing the content of the rendered field data. So for example, for an image, you won’t get just an url to those image, instead you will get a rendered HTML image tag. You can easily use this variables in the HTML item or you can use the Advanced generator functions, which allow you to get the url to the images easily.
