404 – Page not found / Connection was timed out / 403 – You don’t have permission to access…


– Can’t save on slides.

– Can’t save somewhere in the Smart Slider’s backend.

Some servers have http filters, which means, that they won’t allow to post variables with http in them, and that is why you can’t save everything in the slider. You can confirm it by going to the Smart Slider’s Settings, try to save on it, and you should get this 404 page, after that go back to the Settings, remove the url from the Placeholder for images, and you should be able to save, because there won’t be any url-s, that should be saved. If your problem will be this, then you should contact your hosting provider, and ask them to turn off this http filter.
